Karnataka Government has given a good news for those are the aspirant to join the police department and who have obtained SSLC or equivalent qualification. This is also a good news for the unemployed candidates based across the Karnataka state. The recruitment process for the candidates of 2400 will be initiated soon as per the Police Department of Karnataka.
Green Signal for starting a new Battalion
ADGP Umesh Kumar has informed that the stat goverment has given green signal for 2 new Battalions in the Armed Reserve Force of Police Department. 100 acres near Devanahalli and 50 acres near KGF have been identified and reserved.
On Friday, the goverment officially announced the initation of 2 new batalions of 2400 police personeel in the Armed Reserve Force ( KSRP ).
At present there are 12 KSRP and 2 IRB battalions. But we require more battalions to deal with emergecy situations and including security and natural calamilities in the state he mentioned. We have submitted a proposal to the state goverment to start Indian Battalion (IRB’s) in the KSAP force. The Government has given the green signal, told ADGP Umesh Kumar of KSRP.
These battalions will be provided with training and accomodation and other facility for the personnel at designated locations. The government also agreed to recruit a total 2400 policemen including with one commondant in each battalion.
The department will start the recruitment process for new battalions very soon and job seekers who dream of joining the police department and government services can make necessary preparations.
Notification Process and Application Procedure
The government has recently ordered the appointment for various posts. The next step in the process involves preparing a draft notification, which will include details on reservations, groups, and applicable rules. Following this, applications will be accepted, and any objections to the draft notification will be reviewed. Once the objections are addressed, a final notification will be issued. However this process will take 1-2 months.
KSRP Constable Position – Educational and Age Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who have completed SSLC (10th grade) or possess an equivalent qualification are eligible to apply for the KSIRP Constable positions.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old on the last date set for submitting applications.
The maximum age limit is 25 years for general category candidates, while candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC categories will have a maximum age limit of 27 years.
