IPL Mega Auction 2024: 574 Players Compete for 204 Spots! Here’s the Complete List of Shortlisted Contenders.

574 candidates will compete for 204 vacant seats in 10 franchises. There are 366 Indian players in this list while 208 are foreign players. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the final list of players participating in the TATA IPL 2025 Mega Auction.

A total of 1574 people showed interest in participating in the mega auction. But BCCI has shortlisted 574 people as per the instructions of the franchisees. It is known that the mega auction will be held on November 24 and 25 (Sunday and Monday) in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

574 candidates will compete for 204 vacant seats in 10 franchises. There are 366 Indian players in this list while 208 are foreign players. Also, three players from the Associate Nations. 48 capped and 318 uncapped players from India. There are 193 capped and 12 uncapped foreign players.

70 overseas slots are available in franchises. The two-day mega auction will begin at 1 pm. JioCinema along with official broadcaster Star Sports will telecast the mega auction live.

81 players have registered their names for a base price of at least Rs 2 crore. 27 players for Rs.1.5 crore, 18 players for Rs.1.25 crore, 23 players for Rs.75 lakh, 92 players for Rs.75 lakh, 8 for Rs.50 lakh, 5 for Rs.40 lakh, 320 players for Rs.30 lakh .

This time only 12 players have been allowed in the list of marquee ( High- profile or star ) players. This list is divided into two sets. Team India’s star wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant, star batsman Shreyas Iyer along with Rabada, Arshdeep Singh and Mitchell Starc are in marquee Set-1. Jos Buttler will be the first player in the auction.
