Devotees will no longer have to wait for days or more for Thimpappa’s darshan at the Tirupati temple. The government is making a system of darshan for 3 hours only. A change is being made in the darshan system at the Tirupati temple in Tirumala, Andhra Pradesh.
It takes 20 to 30 hours to visit the Tirupati temple and have darshan of the deity. Because more than 1 lakh devotees visit every day. In view of the increasing number of devotees, the Tirumala Tirupati Temple Board has decided to make a new darshan system with the help of artificial intelligence and advanced technology. In such a situation, in the new system, devotees will be given darshan of Venkateshwara in just 2-3 hours.
Also special entry Darshan Quota will be cancelled. There is a special arrangement for darshan for local citizens of Tirupati on the first Tuesday of every month. Apart from this, now the leaders cannot make political statements in the temple premises. The board will issue a legal notice to him when he does so.
Recently, there was a controversy over the laddus offered as prasadam in the famous Tirupati temple in Andhra Pradesh. The samples of the ghee used in the prasadam were taken on July 9, 2024 and the laboratory report came out on July 16. After this TTD changed the Prasad system. After that, the first meeting of the board was held, after which this decision was taken.
The TDP claimed in its report that the ghee sample contained animal fat, lard and fish oil were also detected. Chandrababu Naidu accused the previous government of hurting the sentiments of devotees as a big sin.
