Modi’s Victory Speech – Maharashtra Chooses Progress Over Division – A Complete Glimpse of His Address

In a major victory for the NDA in the Maharashtra Lok Sabha elections, the Mahayuti alliance clinched a landslide win, securing 235 seats, while the opposition Maha Vikas Aghadi managed to win only 49 seats.

Here is the complete glimpse of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi after Maharashtra NDA victory.

Those who familiar with Maharashtra will know that when people chant ” Jay Bhavani “, the loud call of ” Jai Shivaji ” echoes back. Today, we have gathered here to celebrate one more historic mega victory. Today in Maharashtra the victory of development, good governance and true social justice has been achieved and today the force of lies, deceit and division have been thoroughly defeated.

The force of negative politics have been defeated today. The force of Dynastic politics have lost today. Maharashtra has strengthened the resolve for a Developed India.

I extend my heartfelt congratulations to all the workers of the BJP and the NDA across the country. I also deeply appreciate the leadership of Shri Eknath Shinde, my dear friend Devendra Fadnavis, and Ajit Pawar for their efforts in this victory.

Friends, today, the results of by-elections in several states have also come in. As Nadda Ji has detailed, I will not go into further detail, but it’s worth mentioning that our Lok Sabha seat count has also increased. Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Rajasthan have given massive support to the BJP. The people of Assam have again trusted the BJP. We have succeeded in Uttar Pradesh, and in Bihar, the support for NDA has grown. This shows that the country wants nothing but development.

I bow with respect to the voters of Maharashtra, especially our youth, mothers and sisters, and our farmers. I also salute the people of Jharkhand. We will work even harder for Jharkhand’s rapid development, and every BJP worker will put in their best efforts.

Today, Maharashtra has once again proved the greatness of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Shahu Maharaj, Mahatma Phule, Savitri Bai Phule, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, Veer Savarkar, and Balasaheb Thackeray. These great personalities have given this land the strength to break all previous records.

In the last 50 years, no party or pre-poll alliance has achieved such a huge victory. And importantly, this is the third consecutive victory for an NDA coalition under BJP leadership in Maharashtra. This is also the third time in a row that the BJP has emerged as the largest party in Maharashtra. This is indeed historic. It is a stamp of approval for the BJP governance model.

The people of Maharashtra have given BJP more seats than Congress and all its allies combined. This shows that when it comes to good governance, the nation trusts only the BJP and the NDA. There is one more piece of good news for you: Maharashtra is the sixth state to have given BJP a mandate for three consecutive terms. Previously, Goa, Gujarat, Chhattisgarh, Haryana, and Madhya Pradesh have also re-elected BJP three times, and in Bihar, NDA has received the people’s mandate three times. After 60 years, you have given me the opportunity for a third term. This reflects the people’s trust in our good governance model, and we will leave no stone unturned in fulfilling that trust.

I want to congratulate the people of Maharashtra for choosing stability for the third consecutive time. This shows the wisdom of the people. As Nadda Ji just mentioned, some people tried to create instability with deceit, but Maharashtra rejected them and punished them for their wrongdoings.

Maharashtra is an important growth engine for the country, and the mandate given by its people will strengthen the foundation of a developed India.

The biggest message from the Haryana elections and now Maharashtra is unity. “Ek hai to Safe hai”. The forces of division have tried to create rifts on the basis of caste, religion, language, and region, but Maharashtra has decisively rejected them. Maharashtra has delivered a clear message: “Only one India, one Constitution.” These divisive forces of Congress have been defeated.

Maharashtra has delivered a mandate to the NDA because we carry both development and heritage together. In Maharashtra, we have immense respect for the land’s heritage. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Dharamveer Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, and Veer Savarkar are our inspiration.

We have always believed in the ideas of Dr. Ambedkar, Mahatma Phule, and Savitri Bai Phule regarding social justice. Our actions align with these values. We have also shown our love for the Marathi language by giving it the status of a Classical Language, and our respect for culture and history is embedded in our behavior.

Maharashtra’s voters have rejected Congress’ attempt to divide society. The people of OBC, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Dalits have voted for the NDA, which shows that people from all sections of society support us. This is a major blow to Congress’s divisive agenda.

Maharashtra has chosen us because we are committed to development while respecting heritage. The NDA has shown that we will walk hand-in-hand with both tradition and modernity.

Now, regarding Article 370, the people of Maharashtra have decisively rejected attempts to revive it. I tell the Congress leaders and their allies: No force in the world can bring back Article 370. Maharashtra has sent a clear message: It will never happen.

The NDA has also exposed the double standards of the Congress. While Congress has always criticized Balasaheb Thackeray’s policies, they have never been willing to give him credit. Similarly, the Congress has tried to insult Veer Savarkar, but the people have seen through their falsehoods. Veer Savarkar’s sacrifices will always be remembered, and Congress cannot distort his legacy.

Now, Congress has become a parasite in Indian politics. In Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim, Haryana, and now in Maharashtra, their strategy has failed. Their attempt to divide society has been rejected by the people.

The Congress family has been so obsessed with power that they have compromised the secular fabric of India. In doing so, they have hurt the very essence of our Constitution. Congress’s obsession with power is so extreme that they have destroyed the sense of social justice in the country. They are spreading caste-based politics, undermining the ideals of social justice that were once championed by leaders like Indira Gandhi, but today’s Congress is unrecognizable.

Congress has ruined its own party, and their internal dissent is growing. There are many old Congress workers who can no longer recognize the party they once loved. There is a growing sense of discontent within Congress, and this is a clear sign of the party’s decline. Today’s urban India has chosen development. The cities of Mumbai, Pune, and Nagpur, the heart of Maharashtra, have sent a clear message: they support modern infrastructure, ease of living, and progress. The BJP will continue to work towards building world-class cities with projects like the Metro, electric buses, Coastal Roads, and airport modernization.

We are committed to ensuring that every youngster in India gets an opportunity for innovation and startups. Our cities will become the engines of growth for the entire country. As I said from the Red Fort, we aim to bring one lakh youth into politics who have no family ties to politics. This is a positive sign for our future.

elections will come and go, but our focus is not just to win elections. Our goal is to build a developed India. We are committed to making life easier for every citizen and fulfilling the dreams of the freedom fighters who envisioned a prosperous India. In just 10 years, we have made India the fifth largest economy in the world. We will not stop here. Soon, India will become the third largest economy. With unity, we will achieve every goal we set.

Once again, I congratulate the people of Maharashtra, the people of India, and all the workers of the BJP and the NDA. Let’s all together raise the slogan of Bharat Mata Ki Jai and march forward.

Jai Hind!
